Dr. Geoffrey P. Carlson, O.D.

Graduated with distinction from Southern California College of Opometry in 1989. He has been in practice in Oroville since 1989 providing thorough examinations to meet the vision care of his patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Golden Empire Optometric Society as well as active in church and community. Dr. Carlson professionaly and compassionately takes care of all eye health care needs as well as low vision patients. He offers full examinations and training on all appliances that best suit the patients needs.

Karen Lower, Insurance Coordinator

Karen has been with Carlson Optometry, Inc. for over 12 years. She has completed many hours of education and experience in insurance billing and also in all facets of the office. If we have questions, she is more than likely to have the answers.

Thia Osborn - Dr. Assistant/patient coordinator

Thia is Dr. Carlson's assistant and patient cooridnator. She offers a lot of knowledge with the pre-examinations, contact lens patient training and assisting Dr. Carlson with Low Vision examinations and training of the appliances. She has a warm welcoming personality and smile.

Maile Hall

Maile has been with Carlson Optometry, Inc. Since August 2008. She is our front office patient coordinator. She greets our patients with knowledge and a friendly smile. She assists with obtaining insurance authorizations and keeping the flow of the office smooth and accommadating. She is also proficient in American Sign Language.

Geoffrey S. Carlson

Geoffrey manages the cmputerized inentory records, identify and verify products received. He also enters and maintains the inventory database. He trains other staff members to use the system. He also verifies the eyewear parameters and quality when they are returned from the labs. He custom fits eyewear to patients and assists in the selection of quality fashionable eyewear.

Matthew Carlson

Matthew is our knowledgeable frame stylist/dispenser. He varifies the parameters and quality of the eyewear when they are received from the labs. He custom fits the eyewear to each patient and assists in the selection of the eyewear and lens options that best suit the patient. He has a great eye for style! He also speaks spanish.

Laurie Carlson

Laurie is our part time Optometric Assistant. She is knowledgeable in the pre-examinations and scribing for the Dr.. The patients enjoy her professional, friendly personality.
